Overview

The Recruitment Coordinator based in Edmonton and reporting to the Lead Recruitment Coordinator, will play a vital role in the onboarding of top talent to our organization contributing to the success of our organization by building a talented and engaged workforce. This position encompasses working closely with new hires throughout their onboarding process to ensure that they are compliant by their intended travel date. 

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage new hire onboarding of up to 40+ employees at one time. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees providing an exceptional customer service focused approach with touchpoints throughout the onboarding experience. 
  • Setting up new candidate profiles and assigning training and other orientations, collecting all required safety tickets and documentation, and updating tracking systems. 
  • Working closely with assigned Field Recruiter(s) to ensure clear communication on candidate status and identifying any risks to onboarding progress. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our applicant tracking system Workable and training system Bistrainer, documenting all communication and status updates. 
  • Understand and believe in Morgan values and Pillars of Excellence, consistently demonstrating alignment through everyday actions and able to ascertain best fit for the company based on candidates own values and beliefs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.  
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in HR administration and/or recruitment would be considered an asset. 
  • Experience in a high-volume construction environment would be beneficial.

  • Passionate about connecting with people and building strong relationships. 
  • Digitally savvy.  
  • Ability to move quickly from one task to another with high quality standards. 
  • Can catch on quickly to new information and apply it.
