$150/Day Per Diem | Daily Transportation from Winnemucca

We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a 9‑month heavy civil/mining project in Northern Nevada operating on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule.

This position is best suited for local operators based in Winnemucca or nearby, or candidates willing to self‑arrange accommodations and take advantage of daily transportation to site.

Project Details

• Project duration: Approximately 9 months
• Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off
• Shift length: 10–12 hours per day
• Daily transportation provided from Winnemucca to site

Important: Accommodations are not provided. Candidates must live locally or secure their own housing in or near Winnemucca.

Pay & Per Diem

• $35/hour + overtime where applicable
• $150 per day per diem (paid for scheduled workdays)
• Competitive total package for local or regional operators seeking consistent work

Equipment Experience Operators with experience on:

• Dozers (D6–D10)
• Excavators (20T–90T)
• Rock Trucks (40T–100T)
• Graders (14M–16M)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or heavy civil environments
• Experience with haul roads, pads, or bulk earthworks preferred
• MSHA Part 48 (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work a weekday‑style schedule for the duration of the project
